Research Desk Methodology
Editorial method for StableNexus Research Desk covering source handling, qualification, note eligibility, and public-proof linkage rules.
Source, proof, and reference handling
Every published note must be source-led. The leaf shows a primary source-document card, keeps additional supporting sources separate, and does not list internal docs or cases as if they were external evidence.
Research notes separate external source material, StableNexus interpretation, and operational implications explicitly. Case pages remain the proof surface and docs remain the specification surface; note leaves connect those surfaces instead of duplicating them.
Qualification and truth-state discipline
Each published note must carry an explicit trigger, a source-backed qualification view, a visible proof fit, and a clear truth state before it is indexable on the public desk.
Signal strength, evidence grade, proof fit, impact level, and action horizon are part of the public note contract because the desk is meant to help institutional readers judge what is immediate, structural, or still only a watch item.
News-eligible note discipline
A note is only treated as news-eligible when it is an English trigger note tied to a recent source-led development with a visible publication date and a clear public title. Not every desk note qualifies.
If the source base is thin, speculative, future-only, or too slow-moving for a dated trigger note, the content should remain a tracker, brief, family page, or doc update rather than being packaged as a news note.
AI use and human review
StableNexus may use AI-assisted drafting or structuring tools during research workflows, but public note wording, qualification state, and publication decisions remain under human review before the note goes live.
The desk does not present raw model output as public fact. External sources, qualification decisions, and same-slug corrections remain the controlling public record.
Signal-strength interpretation
High signal: The note is backed by strong primary evidence and matters directly to program design, route selection, or institutional operating posture now.
Qualified: The source base is real and relevant but the desk is still waiting on confirmation of depth, scope, or execution impact.
Watch: The note is useful context but not yet something readers should treat as an operating decision trigger.
